Proposed MCIA Policies To Be Reviewed For Adoption
The Board of Directors is preparing to vote on the following policies at the upcoming monthly Board of Directors meeting taking place on August 8, 2019, at 7:30 P.M. at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Any comments, questions, or concerns about these policies should be brought to the attention of your Section Director.
Solar Energy Devices Policy
With the growing desire to use residential solar energy devices, the Meyerland Community Improvement Association is looking to adopt a policy that will help homeowners understand the requirements of proper placement of their solar energy devices on their lot. You may click here to review the policy and send any comments, concerns or questions to your Section Director.
Circular Drive Policy
On June 13, 2019, the Meyerland Board of Directors voted to rescind the then existing Circular Drive policy as it not only was in contradiction with the newer sets of deed restrictions currently being adopted but was counter to many of the resident’s desires and direct requests. As the adoption of the governing documents of the association takes time to complete, some desired changes are not able to keep pace. To meet this need, the policy was re-written and is being recommended for adoption. The policy is included here for your information.
