Meyerland Community Improvement Association (MCIA) is governed by a strong board of directors who are all volunteers. Much of the work of the association is completed through committees outside of the board. Each committee reports back to the board on an informational basis or requests the board’s approval for issues based on the committee’s recommendations.

The board is seeking volunteers both in and outside of the 2026 board of directors who are interested in committee service. The committee descriptions can be found here.

Please note that committee assignments may be limited – we do our best to balance the committees with interests and expertise of the volunteers.
