Security
In an emergency, please call 911. For other security concerns, please contact Harris County Precinct 5 Constables at (281) 463-6666. The constables are your quickest response, but please call 911 if you have a true emergency or need emergency medical care.
Citizens on Patrol
Meyerland has a Citizen Patrol program. This HPD program is a means for citizens to organize as groups and patrol the neighborhood. They act as another set of eyes and ears for law enforcement officers. The Citizens on Patrol program provide an effective method of discouraging neighborhood crime, promote a friendly and safer neighborhood environment, and improve communication among neighbors.
The time commitment for being a volunteer is only a few hours per month. Volunteers must be 18 years or older, have a valid Texas driver’s license, pass a background check, and go through training with the Houston Police Department. If you are interested, please contact resident, Rick Fritz.
