Chimney Rock Bridge Over Brays Bayou Traffic Switch and Temporary Detour

Construction Update: Pedestrians and commuters should be aware that this weekend the Chimney Rock Road bridge over Brays Bayou will be switching north and southbound traffic over to the newly constructed bridge. As a result of this traffic switch, access to the Chimney Rock bridge will be temporarily detoured over the weekend. Northbound traffic should use S. Rice Ave. and southbound traffic should use Hillcroft Ave. to cross Brays Bayou during this temporary closure. The traffic switch is expected to be completed by Monday – weather permitting.
